It is necessary to access with the administrator rights to start the ope\ ration screen of Crestron Connected TM from the web control screen. (The [Crestron Connected(TM)] button is not displayed in the web control screen with the user rights.) The operation page of Crestron Connected TM is displayed by clicking [Crestron Connected(TM)]. It is not displayed if Adobe Flash Player is not installed on your computer, or the browser you use does not support Flash. In such a case, click [Back] in the operation page to go back to the previous page.

Chapter 5 Maintenance — Lamp/temperature/filter indicators ENGLISH - 179 Lamp/temperature/filter indicators When an indicator lights up If a problem should occur inside the projector, the lamp indicators ///, the temperature indicator , and the filter indicator will inform you by lighting or blinking. Check the status of the indicators and manage the indicated problems as follows.Attention f When switching of f the projector to deal with problems, make sure to follow the procedure in “Switching of f the projector” (x page 64). (x page 184) The lamp unit or the lamp case is not installed. A problem is detected in the lamp or the power supply for the lamp. Cause f W as [REPLACE LAMP] displayed when you turned on the power? f The indicator lights up when the runtime of the lamp unit reaches 2 800 *2 hours. f Is the lamp unit or the lamp case installed? fHave you turned on the power again immediately after turning it of f? f Some error has occurred in the lamp circuit. Check for fluctuation (or drop) in the input supply voltage. Solution f Replace the lamp unit. fInstall the lamp unit or the lamp case if it is not installed. fIf the indicator is still blinking in red even when having installed the lamp unit or the lamp case, consult your dealer . fW ait a while until the luminous lamp cools off, and then turn on the power. f T urn the switch to (x page 64), and consult your dealer. *1 The indicator lights up in red while the lamp is turned of f, and lights up in orange while the lamp is turned on. *2 800 hours when using the optional Replacement lamp unit (for portrait mode) (Model No.: ET- LAD520P (1 pc), ET- LAD520PF (4 pcs)). Note fIf the lamp indicators /// are still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair .
Chapter 5 Maintenance — Lamp/temperature/filter indicators 180 - ENGLISH Temperature indicator Indicator statusLighting in red Blinking in red (2 times) Blinking in red (3 times) Status Warm-up status Internal temperature is high (warning).Internal temperature is high (standby status).The cooling fan has stopped. Cause f Did you turn on the power when the temperature was low (around 0 °C (32 °F))? fIs the air intake/exhaust port blocked? fIs the room temperature high? fIs the filter indicator lit?― Solution f W ait approximately 5 minutes (PT - DZ16K2: up to 20 minutes) in the current status. f Install the projector in a location with the operating environment temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F) *1. fRemove any objects that are blocking the air intake/ exhaust port. fInstall the projector in a location with the operating environment temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F) *1, and ambient humidity between 20 % and 80 % (no condensation). f Do not use the projector at high altitudes of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level. f Clean or replace the air filter unit. ( x page 181) fT urn the switch to (x page 64), and consult your dealer. *1 When using the projector at high altitudes (between 1 400 m (4 593') and 2 700 m (8 858') above sea level), the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F). If you use the smoke cut filter, the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F). However, it cannot be used at high altitudes. If you use the Replacement lamp unit (for portrait mode), the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F) when using it at elevations lower than 1 400 m (4 593') above sea level, and should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F) when using it at high altitudes (between 1 400 m (4 593') and 2 700 m (8 858') above sea level). If you use the Replacement lamp unit (for portrait mode) together with the smoke cut filter, the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 30 °C (86 °F). (Only for PT - DZ21K2, PT - DS20K2, PT - DW17K2) Note fIf the temperature indicator is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair . Filter indicator Indicator statusLighting in red Blinking in red Status The filter is clogged. The temperature inside or outside the projector is abnormally high. The air filter unit is not attached. Cause f Is the air filter unit dirty? fIs the air intake/exhaust port blocked? fAre you using the projector at elevations of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level? f Is the air filter unit attached? Solution f Clean or replace the air filter unit. ( x page 181) fRemove any objects that are blocking the air intake/ exhaust port. fDo not use the projector at elevations of 2 700 m (8 858') or higher above sea level. f Attach the air filter unit. Note fIf the filter indicator is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair . fIf the filter is clogged while [LAMP SELECT] is set to [QUAD] or [TRIPLE], the setting may be forcibly changed to [DUAL]. To reset the setting, clean the air filter unit or replace it with a new one.
