AUse a Reliable Power Source
The shutter curtain is delicate and easily damaged.
 If the camera powers off while the mirror 
is raised, the curtain will close automatically.
 To prevent damage to the curtain, observe the 
following precautions:
• Do not turn the camera off or remove or disconnect the power source while the mirror is 
raised.
• If the battery runs low while the mirror is raised, a beep will sound and the self-timer lamp

Do not drop: The product may malfunction if subjec ted to strong shocks or vibration.

Storage: To prevent mold or mildew, store the camera in a dry, well-ventilated area. If you are 
using an AC adapter, unplug the adapter to prevent fire.
 If the product will not be used for an 
extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and store the camera in a plastic bag 
containing a desiccant.
 Do not, however, store the camera case in a plastic bag, as this may 
cause the material to deteriorate.

• A marked drop in the time a fully charged batt ery retains its charge when used at room
