    6.2.2  Place Speed Dial Calls
    To dial a call from the dialing directory.

    Once the line has been connected, the screen will automatically display the remote 
    site.
    After the lines connect a picture from the far-site appears.

    6.2.3  Redialing a Call
    Sometimes when you place a video call, the call may not go through the first time.  
    If this happens, you may want to redial the call.  Just as with the redial feature on 
    your telephone, the redial feature on your VisuaLink lets you automatically call 
    the last 30 numbers that you have called or have received.

    Press the CALL
     button.
    The Dial Directory screen appears.

    Using the CAMERA CONTROL 
    button, move the cursor down to the 
    PLACE REDIAL CALL
     and press the ENTER
     button.

    Select the number that you would like to redial from the menu.  Use the 
    CAMERA CONTROL
     button to scroll up or down through the 30 numbers.  
    Press the ENTER
     button to make the call.
    Note 1:
    The redial bin stores the last 30 numbers dialed or received.  The message 
    to the right of the number indicates whether the call was incoming or 
    called.
    Note 2:
    All redial numbers are stored as phone numbers.
    Note 3:
    The redial number are stored in consecutive order.

    6.3 End a Call
    Press the HANGUP
     button on the remote controller to display the menu for 
    disconnecting the remote end.

    Press the ENTER
     button to end the video call.  Press the CANCEL
     button to 
    continue the video call.
    Note 1:
    If the line cannot be disconnected from the remote controller, turn off the 
    power switch.  This will force the VisuaLink to hang up the video call.
    Note 2:
    If the far-end hangs up first, you will see the message FAR-END HUNG 
    UP
     on your screen.

    6.4 Answer a Call
    The VisuaLink is able to be set to automatic answer mode or manual answer.  If 
    the VisuaLink set to an automatic answer all incoming calls will be answered by 
    the VisuaLink without user intervention.When you receive a video call and your 
    system is set for manual answer, your system rings just like a telephone, and you 
    see a message like this on your screen:  
    INCOMING CALL, PRESS ENTER TO ANSWER.

    To answer the call:
    Press the ENTER
     button.  The following sequence will appear.

    Chapter 7  Conference Mode
    This chapter gives an in-depth description of the on-screen menus.
    7.1 How to Display the 
    Conference Mode 
    On-Screen IconsThis menu will display line speed, audio mode, video format and data settings for 
    the local site and conference mode.

    Activates audio training in order to

    Multipoint (Three (3 or more sites)
    No Connection
    Indicates the parameter settings 
    for the local VisuaLink or the 
    negotiated parameter settings.  
    The possible messages are:
    Setting (local)
    Common (negotiated)
    The VisuaLink stored
