SHORT TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE
1. GENERAL Description
This feature enables a short text message (STM), once arrived at a mail box of the Short Text Message Server
(external equipment), to be automatically distributed to the addressee PS via Open Application Interface (OAI).
This feature also provides a Zip Tone and “TM WAITING” notification on the display (LCD) of the addressee

2. OPERATING PROCEDURE
 By using PS function key, user can set a password (less than 4 digits) to the PS to enter STM (short text
message system) mode, if more details are required, please refer to “PS’s manual”.
 The STM transmitted to the PS while PS’s buffer (max. 10 messages) is full is temporarily kept in STM
server. When requesting the STM, delete old STM data in the buffer using function key. Then the PS

1. GENERAL
By using both TCP/IP data channel and voice station circuit connections to an external Nurse Call System, this
feature enables the PS user (in this service, the user is care giver in a hospital) to receive immediate indication

SPEED CALLING - SYSTEM
1. GENERAL
This feature allows a PS user to call certain frequently dialed numbers using fewer digits (abbreviated call codes)
than would normally be required.
2. OPERATING PROCEDURE
1. Press off-hook button; receive Dial Tone.
2. Dial SPEED CALLING–SYSTEM- PS access code (maximum three digits).
