7-6-1 Replacing the Start Switch and Lamp
1.  Remove the Control Panel. (see7-6 page 70)
2. Remove the Switch and Lamp assembly from the Switch Holder by pulling the assembly straight out.
3. Remove the lamp by pulling it straight out from the Switch assembly.
4. Replace the lamp or switch.
Note: When replacing the Switch, ensure that the correct coloured wires are connected to the correct terminals.
5. Re-assemble in reverse order.

7-7 Replacing the Sensor PCB
1.  Seperate the Front Assembly from the Monitor Base Assy. (see 5-2 page 35)
2. Remove 4off pozi head screws (M5x25), with flat and spring washers, and remove the PCB guard.
3. Disconnect the five connectors and two terminals.

Page 73 4. Remove the 2off upper pozi head screws (M6x25), with flat and spring washers,
and loosen the 2off lower screws, and remove the PCB Base.
5. Disconnect the connectors.
6. Remove 6off pozi head screws (M5x25), with flat and spring washers, and
remove the Sensor PCB.
7. Re-assemble in reverse order.

7-8 Replacing the FCB PCB
1.  Remove the PCB Base. (see 7-7 (4) page 73)
2. Disconnect the three connectors.
3. Remove 4off pozi head screws (M3x6), with flat and spring washers, and remove the FCB PCB.
4. Re-assemble in reverse order.

1.  Remove the PCB Base. (see 7-7 (4) page 73)
2. Disconnect the three connectors.
3. Remove 4off pozi head screws (M3x6), with flat and spring washers, and remove the FCB PCB.
4. Re-assemble in reverse order.

Page 76 7-10 Replacing the Sword
1. Cut the rope of the old sword from the hook.
2. By referring to the diagram below, tie the rope of the new sword to the hoop
securely
As shown below, attach the rope with a bowline knot.
(a) Make a loop as shown below, and pass the free end of the rope through the
loop.
(b) Pass the free end under the rope, and pull it through the loop again.
(c) Pull the free end of the rope, making sure that the loop stays the correct
size.

7-11 Replacing the Sword Blade
1.  Remove the Sword Assy. (see 7-10 page 76)
2. Hold the blade with one hand, and turn the grio anticlockwise to remove.\
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
Note: Insert the blade all the way until it contacts the sword guard. If the blade is difficult to fit, apply a small amount of diluted deterg\
ent as a
lubricant.

7-12 Removing the Sensor Assemblies
1. Remove 4off security screw (M5x12) and remove both retainers (A and B).
2. Remove the glass.
3. Remove 1off cap screw (M4x6), and disconnect the Earth wire.
4. Disconnect the two connectors.
5. Remove 4off security screw (M5x12), and remove the Sensor Assy.
6. Reassemble in reverse order. Ensure that the white connector is on the projector side and the red con\
nector is
on the player side. Incorrect connection causes malfunction.

7-13 Removing the Sensors
1. Remove the Sensor Assy. (see 7-12 page 78).
2. Remove 1off cap bolt (M4x20) and detach the adjusting spring.
3. Remove 2off cap screws (M5x8).
4. Remove 3off pozi head screws (M4x45).
5. Remove the Sensors, Spacer and Collars.
6. Reassemble in reverse order. Ensure that the spacer and collar are in the correct positions.
