    7-2 Adjusting the AC Solenoid
    1. Loosen the 3 socket cap screws (M4x12) holding the spring bracket in place. (Only 
    loosen the screws sufficiently so that the
    screw heads are in contact with the bracket,
    but the bracket can move up and down.)
    Adjust the spring tension so that the adjuster
    rail drops fully. Retighten the 3 socket cap
    screws (M4x12).
    2. Loosen the locking nut (M6) and slacken the pozi head screw (M6x40) used for adjusting solenoid bracket (A).
    3. Loosen the 4 socket cap screws (M5x12) holding solenoid bracket (A) \
    in place. (Only loosen the screws sufficiently so that the screw heads are in
    contact with the bracket, but the bracket can move up and down.)
    4. Turn the power to the machine ON. 
    5 . Select the rail test in  Test Mode  (see section 6-3)  and press the service
    switch once, activating the AC solenoid. (Adjuster rail connects with t\
    he 
    main rail.)
    6. Adjust the solenoid bracket (A) up and down with the pozi head screw (M6x40) so that the adjuster rail and main rail are in solid contact b\
    ut
    without any buzzing from the solenoid. Re-tighten the 4 socket cap screw\
    s
    (M5x12) that hold solenoid bracket (A) in place.
    7. Press the service button twice, reactivating the AC solenoid, and confir\
    m that there is no change in the contact condition of the adjuster rail an\
    d
    main rail and the solenoid does not buzz. Tighten the locking nut (M6)
    making sure that the adjustment screw does not move. Release and
    energise the solenoid 2 - 3 times. If a change does occur, repeat from
    step 6 and readjust the solenoid bracket (A).
    9. Slide the test switch OFF to return to game mode. 
    						
    							Page 42 7-3 Replacing the Solenoid and Fluorescent Lamp Fuse
    The fuse holder is of the type where the end caps of the fuse are inserted
    between clasps. To remove the fuse, gently prise out using a small screwdriver
    or similar tool.
    To install a fuse, place the fuse end caps on the clasps and press both ends of
    the fuse into the clasps with equal force.
    (Use a 1¼” 250v 1A Q/B fuse)
    7-4 Replacing the Hammer
    1. Remove the security screw (M4x25) and 2 flat washers (M4) from the end
    of the grip.
    2. Ensure that the ring of the rope is between the 2 flat washers and fit to
    the end of the grip with the security screw (M5x25).
    3. Pull on the wire rope to ensure that it is fastened securely.

    1. Remove the 2 security screws (M5x20) and 4 security screws (M5x35)
    (complete with flat and spring washers), holding the front table in place,
    and remove the front table.
    2. Remove the 2 Hex head screws (M5x14) retaining the old wire rope in
    place on the rear of the front table, and install the new wire rope between
    the front cushion and the front cover.
    3. Refit the front table with the 2 security screws (M5x20) and 4 security
    screws (M5x35) complete with the flat and spring washers.
    Ensure that there is a uniform gap between the target and bezel. 
    						
    							Page 44 7-6 Replacing the Ball
    1. Remove the 2 security screws (M4x12) flat and spring washers, and
    window retainers (B).
    2. Remove 3 button head screws (M5x12) and remove the top retaining
    bracket.
    3. Remove the front window.
    4. Replace the ball and position it as shown in the diagram.
    5. Assemble in reverse order.

    7-7 Replacing the Fluorescent Lamp
    1. Remove the front window  (see section 7-6 “Replacing the Ball”)
    2. Remove the fluorescent lamp by unscrewing it anti clockwise from the lamp holder.
    3. Replace the fluorescent lamp. ( 230v 11watt)
    4. Reassemble in reverse order.
    Note: When replacing the fluorescent lamp, always use a fluorescent
    lamp of the same rating. Failure to do so may cause heat damage tothe plastics within the vicinity of the fluorescent lamps
    7-8 Replacing the Display Lamps
    1. Remove the back door. 
    2. Remove the lamp from it’s holder by pushing the lamp in and turning anticlockwise at the same time.
    3. Refit the lamp by inserting it into the lamp holder then pushing the lam\
    p in and turning it clockwise at the same time. (Use a  24v 10w Auto lamp)

    7-9 Replacing the Sensors
    1. Remove the front windo w. (see section 7-6 “Replacing the Ball”)
    2. Remove the connector from the sensor. 
    3. Remove the pozi head screw (M3x16) and spring washer, and remove the sensor.
    4. When refitting the sensor, ensure that the grey face of the sensor is facing away from the ball track.
    5. Reassemble in reverse order. 
    						
    							Page 47 7-10 Replacing the AC Solenoid
    1. Remove the back door.
    2. Remove the pozi head screw (M3x8) holding the spring clip in place and
    remove the spring clip. Remove the spring shaft
    3. Remove the 3 socket cap screws screws (M4x12) that hold the spring
    bracket in place and remove the spring bracket.
    4. Remove the socket cap screw (M6x20) holding the adjuster rail and
    balancer in place.
    5. Disconnect the connector.
    6. Remove the 4 Nyloc nuts (M4) holding the solenoid bracket (B) in place,
    and pull both the bracket (B) and the balancer towards you, keeping them
    level.

    7. Pull the snap pin off theplunger’s solenoid shaft, 
    remove the solenoid shaft,
    and then remove the plunger.
    8. Slacken the locking nut (M6) and the pozi head screw
    (M6x40) that hold the solenoid
    bracket (A) and solenoid
    bracket (B) in place.
    9. Remove the 4 socket cap screws (M5x12) that hold
    solenoid bracket (A) in place
    and remove the solenoid
    bracket (A).
    10. Remove the 4 socket cap screws (M5x12) holding the AC
    Solenoid in place and replace
    the AC solenoid.
    11. Reassemble in reverse order. 
    12. Adjust the AC solenoid. (see section 7-2 “Adjusting the AC 
    Solenoid”)

    7-11 Replacing the Score PC Board
    1. Remove the front windo w. (see section 7-6 “Replacing the Ball”.)
    2. Remove the 4 pozi head screws (M4x10) that hold the score bracket (A)\
     in place. Remove the score bracket (A) only sufficiently enough to 
    disconnect the connector, Remove the score bracket (A).
    3. Remove the 4 pozi head screws (M4x10) that hold the score bracket (B)\
     in place, and remove score bracket (B).
    4. Squeeze the locking tags of the locking support with radio pliers or sim\
    ilar tool, and carefully remove the Score PC Board from each locking support
    one at a time.
    5. Reassemble in reverse order.

    7-12 Replacing the Rail Cushion
    1. Remove the front window  (see section 7-6 “Replacing the Ball”.)
    2. Peel off and replace the rail cushion. 
    3. Reassemble in reverse order.
