Sugar can damage the coffee machine. Only use pure coffee beans. Do not use coffee beans which have been treated with anything containing caramel, any kind of sugar or any other substances. Do not put drinks containing sugar, or instant coffee in the machine. Never place a drink with ignited alcohol under the steam spouts.
