bright\fess  of  the  backlight  behi\fd 
the LCD scree\f. Adjusti\fg the back -

the  bright\fess  of  the  TV.  Whe\f 
decreasi\fg  the  backlight,  the  bright -
\fess  of  the  black  becomes  darker 
\bithout  a\fy  loss  i\f  video  sig\fal  a\fd 
the po\ber co\fsumptio\f is reduced.
ꔛ Contr\fst:  I\fcrease  or  decrease  the 
gradie\ft of the video sig\fal. You may 
use Co\ftrast \bhe\f the bright part of 
the picture is saturated.
ꔛ Brightness: Adjusts the base level of 
the sig\fal i\f the picture. You may use 
Bright\fess \bhe\f the dark part of the 
picture is saturated.
ꔛ Sh\frpness: Adjusts the level of crisp -
\fess  i\f  the  edges  bet\bee\f  the  light 
a\fd  dark  areas  of  the  picture.  The 
lo\ber the level, the softer the image.
ꔛ Color: Adjusts i\fte\fsity of all colors.
ꔛ Tint:  Adjusts  the  bala\fce  bet\bee\f 
red a\fd gree\f levels.
ꔛ Color Temp.:  Set to \barm to e\fha\fce 
hotter  colors  such  as  red,  or  set  to 
cool  to  e\fha\fce  cooler  colors  such 
as blue.

ꔛ Adjusts scree\f colors so that they look livelier, richer a\fd clearer. This fea -
ture e\fha\fces hue, saturatio\f a\fd lumi\fa\fce so that red, blue a\fd gree\f

-  Lumi\fa\fce:  This  fu\fctio\f  displays  calculated  lumi\fa\fce  value  for  2.2  gamma.  You  ca\f  i\fput  lumi\fa\fce  value  you  \ba\ft  at  100  IRE,  the\f  the 
target lumi\fa\fce value for 2.2 gamma is displayed at every 10 steps from 
10 IRE to 90 IRE.
