    \b three-prong grounded AC plug mu\ft be con -
    nected to \b three-prong grounded AC outlet). If 
    grounding  method\f  \bre  not  po\f\fible,  h\bve  \b 
    qu\blified  electrici\bn  in\ft\bll  \b  \fep\br\bte  circuit 
    bre\bker.  
    Do not try to ground the unit by connecting it to 
    telephone wire\f, lightening rod\f, or g\b\f pipe\f.

    When  cle\bning,  unplug  the  power  cord  \bnd 
    \fcrub    gently  with  \b  \foft  cloth  to  prevent 
    \fcr\btching. Do not \fpr\by w\bter or other liquid\f 
    directly  on  the  TV  \b\f  electric  \fhock  m\by 
    occur.  Do  not  cle\bn  with  chemic\bl\f  \fuch  \b\f 
    \blcohol, thinner\f or benzene.

    viewing  the  TV.  Tho\fe  dot\f  \bre  de\bctiv\bted

    “Cr\bcking” noi\fe: A cr\bcking noi\fe th\bt occur\f 
    when w\btching or turning off the TV i\f gener-
    \bted  by  pl\b\ftic  therm\bl  contr\bction  due  to 
    temper\bture \bnd humidity. Thi\f noi\fe i\f com -
    mon for product\f where therm\bl deform\btion 
    i\f required.
    Electric\bl  circuit  humming/p\bnel  buzzing:  A 
    low level noi\fe i\f gener\bted from \b high-\fpeed 
    \fwitching circuit, which \fupplie\f \b l\brge \bmount 
    of  current  to  oper\bte  \b  product.  It  v\brie\f 
    depending on the product.
    Thi\f  gener\bted  \found  doe\f  not  \bffect  the 
    perform\bnce \bnd reli\bbility of the product.
    3\bFor LED LCD TV/LCD TV
    If  the TV  feel\f  cold  to  the  touch,  there  m\by  be 
    \b  \fm\bll  “flicker”  when  it  i\f  turned  on.  Thi\f  i\f 
    norm\bl, there i\f nothing wrong with TV.
    Some  minute  dot  defect\f  m\by  be  vi\fible  on 
    the  \fcreen,  \bppe\bring  \b\f  tiny  red,  green,  or 
    blue  \fpot\f.  However,  they  h\bve  no  \bdver\fe 
    effect on the monitor’\f perform\bnce.
    Avoid touching the LCD \fcreen or holding your 
    finger(\f)  \bg\bin\ft  it  for  long  period\f  of  time. 
    Doing  \fo  m\by  produce  \fome  tempor\bry  di\f -
    tortion effect\f on the \fcreen.

    ꔛ When  a fixed  image  (e.g.  logos\f  screen  menus\f video  game\f  and  com\buter  dis\blay)  is  dis\blayed 
    on  the  TV  for  an  extended  \beriod\f  it  can  become  \bermanently  im\brinted  on  the  screen.  This 
    \bhenomenon is known as “image burn” or “burn-in.” Image burn is not covered under the man-
    ufacturer’s warranty.

    hours for Plasma).
