1Display the PAPER SOURCE SETUP menu.
– Refer to Displaying the PAPER SOURCE SETUP menu on 
page 7-21.
2Press the [+] or [,] key until PAPER TYPE is selected, and then press 
the [OK] key.

7.5 CUSTOM SIZE MEMORY
From the CUSTOM SIZE MEMORY menu, two of the most frequently used 
custom paper sizes can be registered. The custom paper sizes registered 
here can be selected for the size of paper loaded in the 1st paper drawer by 
selecting PAPER SOURCE SETUP in Utility mode, then selecting TRAY1 
PAPER, then PAPER SIZE.

3Press the [+] or [,] key until the desired number is selected, and then 
press the [OK] key.
4Use the keypad to type in length (X), and then press the [OK] key.
– Refer to the diagram and be sure 
to specify the paper width and 
length measurements correctly.
– The paper length (X) can be set 
between 140 mm and 432 mm.
– To correct the entered value, 
press the [Clear/Stop] key.

– The paper width (Y) can be set between 90 mm and 297 mm.
– To correct the entered value, press the [Clear/Stop] key.

7.6 USER MANAGEMENT
From the USER MANAGEMENT menu, certain maintenance operations 
can be performed in order to maintain the machine’s efficiency.

While toner is being refilled, do not turn off the machine or open the 
machine’s front door.
