Setup 32 Installing the operating system To operate properly, the server must have a support ed operating system. Release the latches on the lever. 4. Lower the handle, and pull the processor memory module out of the server until the release latches catch.

To install the processor memory mo dule, reverse the removal steps. Installing a processor 1. Locate and download the latest RO M version from the HP website ( http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support /files/server/us/romflash.html ). Insert the processor assembly into the proc essor socket, and close the locking lever. CAUTION: To prevent possible server malfunction or damage to the equipment, be sure to completely close the processor locking lever.
