14. Content of service log
Select Service Log from the menu. Check the contents of the Service Log for possible problems. 
If the monitor contains the recorder unit, record the Service Log on the recorder by selecting 
Record Log.

Check the power supply unit output voltages through the service menu:

Change the module into the other slot. When the module is recognized, check that the values do 
not still increase faster than by 5 per second.

Press the key 
Record Wave and check that the module starts recording the selected 
waveforms. Press the key
 Stop on the module to stop recording.
NOTE: InvBP waveforms are not recorded without a patient simulator.
NOTE: If no recording appears, check that the paper roll is installed in a correct way. Only one side of 
the paper is printable.

3.3 Disassembly and reassembly
WARNINGThe S/5 Compact Monitor is always energized by an internal battery. A short 
circuit may cause internal damage. Do not touch any exposed wiring or 
conductive surface inside, as this may cause an electric shock.

unerstaning of the structure....

3.3.5 To detach/remove the Module Mother Board
1. Detach/remove the PMB Board.
2. Unscrew the spacers to remove the Module Mother Board.
NOTE: Be carefull not to damage the service reset switch.

3.4 Internal battery
WARNINGThe S/5 Compact Monitor is always energized by an internal battery. A short 
circuit may cause internal damage. Do not touch any exposed wiring or 
conductive surface inside, as this may cause an electric shock.

3.4.3 Replacing the batteries
1. Open the Bottom Plate of the Frame Unit by opening the eight screws.
2. Detach the battery cables and remove the batteries.
3. Insert new batteries and connect the battery cables.
NOTE: Remember the order of the batteries connected to the PMB board.

4 Troubleshooting
