Loading Media Before youprint, loadmedia forthe type ofprinting youwilldo. Note: Loading mediaautomatically displaysthesetup screen formedia typeandsize. Toturn this display off,press the setupbutton, selectSystem Administration >Printer Settings >Paper Source Settings >Paper SetupDisplay >Off . 5. Insert paper, glossyorprintable sideup,short edge first,against theright edge andbehind thetab. 6. Press thebutton onthe edge guide andslide itto the edge ofthe paper. 7. When prompted bythe products LCDscreen, selectthesize andtype ofthe paper youloaded and select OK. Always followthesepaper loading guidelines: • Load onlytherecommended numberofsheets. • Load paper shortedge first,nomatter whichwayyour document faces. • Load theprintable sidefaceup. 43
• Load letterhead orpre-printed papertopedge first. • Do not load paper above thearrow markinside theedge guide. • Check thepaper package forany additional loadinginstructions. 8. Insert asingle sheetoffine artpaper intothemanual feedtray.Insert itshort edge firstwith the printable sideup. 9. Feed thepaper uptothe line near theend ofthe tray. Make surethepaper isflush against theright side. 10. Select Loadonthe touch screen. Thepaper loadsintoyour product. 46
11. When youseeamessage tellingyoutoextend theoutput tray,pulloutand extend thetray fully. 12. When prompted bythe products touchscreen, selectthesize andtype ofthe paper youloaded and select OK. 13. Push inthe manual feedtrayuntil itlatches. 47

Select Poster Board-Load onthe touch screen. Thepaper loadsintoyour product. 50
