    keep yourproduct working atits best, youshould cleanitseveral timesayear.
     Caution:
    Donot use ahard brush, benzene, alcohol,orpaint thinner toclean theproduct oryou may
     damage
    it.Do not place anything ontop ofthe cover oruse thecover asawriting surface, oritcould get
     permanently
    scratched.Donot use oilorother lubricants insidetheproduct orlet water getinside.

    Turn offthe product.
     2.
    Unplug thepower cable.
     3.
    Disconnect anyconnected cables.
     4.
    Remove allthe paper andtherollpaper holders fromtheproduct.
     5.
    Clean thepaper support andmanual feedtrayusing asoft brush oradry microfiber cloth.
     6.
    Close thepaper support, manualfeedtray,output tray,andanycovers.
     7.
    Clean theouter casewithasoft cloth dampened withamild detergent.
     8.
    Plug thepower cablebackinand turn onthe product.
     9.
    Load several sheetsofplain paper (oracleaning sheet)inthe sheet feeder andclean thepaper
     guide.

    Leave theinkcartridges installed.Removing thecartridges candryouttheprint head andmay prevent
     the
    product fromprinting.

    Turn offthe product.

    Unplug thepower cable.
     3.
    Disconnect anyconnected cables.

    Remove allthe paper fromtheproduct.
     5.
    Remove therollpaper holders.
     6.
    Close therear paper support andtheoutput tray.
     7.
    Open theprinter cover.
     8.
    Ifyou changed thecontrol panelangle, pushitdown toreturn itto its original position.

    Secure theinkcartridge holdertothe case withtape. Leave theinkcartridges installedtoavoid
     damaging
    theproduct.
     Note:
    Some tapemaybedifficult toremove ifleft inplace foralong time. Remove thetape
     immediately
    aftertransporting theproduct.

    Close theprinter cover.

    Open thefront cover.

    Attach thetransportation lockthatcomes withyour product tothe lower rightofthe front manual feed
     tray
    and secure itwith tape.

     cushioning
    aroundtheproduct. Makesurethebox adequately protectstheproduct controlpanel.

    After unpacking theproduct, besure toremove allofthe tape.

    theproduct levelduring transportation. Ifprint quality hasdeclined whenyouprint again, cleanand
     align
    theprint head.
