Place youroriginal facedown onthe scanner glasswiththetopfacing asshown. Slidetheoriginal to

edges ofthe indicated corner.
 Note:
Youcanplace multiple originals onthe scanner glass.Justmake suretheyareatleast

inch (20mm) away fromeach other.
 3.
Close thedocument covergently tokeep youroriginal inplace.

Slide theADF edge guide outward.
 2.
Fan your stack oforiginals andtapthem gently onaflat surface toeven theedges.

Insert theoriginals intotheADF faceup andtop-edge first.

ADF lightonthe control panelturnson.
 Note:
Ifthe ADF lightdoes notturn onwhen youplace originals inthe ADF, theproduct maybein
 sleep
mode. Pressanybutton (except theIniciar button) towake upyour product. Aftersome

theADF lightwillturn on.Ifthe ADF lightstilldoes notturn on,there maybeoriginals onthe

glass.Liftthe scanner lidand remove theoriginal.
