theoutput trayand paper support whenyouarenotusing theproduct toprotect itfrom dust.
 Caution:
Donot use ahard brush, alcohol, orpaint thinner toclean theproduct oryou may damage it.
 Do
not use oilorother lubricants insidetheproduct orlet water getinside it.

Turn offthe product.
 2.
Unplug thepower cable.
 3.
Disconnect anyconnected cables.
 4.
Remove allthe paper.
 5.
Clean theouter caseandcontrol panelwithasoft, dry,lint-free cloth.Donot use liquid orchemical
 cleansers.

Clean thescanner glasswithasoft, lint-free cloth(microfiber isrecommended), moistenedwitha
 little
glass cleaner. Ifyou seelines inyour scans orcopies, cleantheleftside ofthe glass carefully.

Donot spray glasscleaner directlyonthe glass anddonot press theglass surface with
 any
force.

Open theADF cover anduseasoft, dry,lint-free cloth(microfiber isrecommended) toclean the
 rollers
andtheinterior ofthe ADF.

Caution:
Duringtransportation andstorage, followtheseguidelines:

Avoid tiltingtheproduct, placingitvertically, orturning itupside down;otherwise inkmay leak.

When storing ortransporting theinkbottle afterremoving itsseal, donot tiltthe bottle anddonot

itto impacts ortemperature changes.Otherwise, inkmay leakeven ifthe cap onthe inkbottle

tightened securely.Besure tokeep theinkbottle upright whentightening thecap, andtake
 measures
toprevent inkfrom leaking whentransporting theinkbottle.

Turn offthe product.
 2.
Liftupthe scanner unitand check tosee ifthe print head isin the farright position (thehome
 position).
Ifnot, turn onthe product, waitforthe print head tomove tothe farright, thenturnthe
 product
offagain.
 3.
Secure theprint head tothe case withtape.
 Caution:
Donot place tapeonthe white flatcable orink tube inside theproduct; otherwise, youmay
 damage
yourproduct.
 4.
Lower thescanner unit.

Remove allthe paper fromtheproduct.
 6.
Close theoutput trayand paper support.
 7.
Unplug thepower cable.
 8.
Disconnect anyconnected cables.
 9.
Setthetransportation locktothe locked (transport) position:.
 10.
Check tomake surethattheinktank capisinstalled securely.
 11.
Place theproduct inits original packaging materials,ifpossible, oruse equivalent cushioning around
 the
product.

Keep theproduct levelduring transport. Otherwise, inkmay leak.
