DVI sources detect the presence of a display device by providing +5V on pin 14 and looking for +5V on pin 16. Whenever the projector is operational, and 5V is present on pin 14, pin 16 will be held at +5V . EDID is available even when the projector is switched off. Operational means that the projector is powered up. Non operational states are powered down and some self test and reprogramming modes. Digital Projection E-Vision 7500 Series USING THE MENUS Operating Guide 34 Using The Menus Use the buttons on the projector control panel or on the remote control, to access the menu system. • To open the on-screen display (OSD), press MENU.
