l Paper should be punched at the paper manufacturer and not drilled into paper already packaged in a ream. Drilled paper can cause jams when multiple

Loading Print Media   
   
Loading print media properly helps prevent jams and ensures trouble - free printing.  
   
Before loading print media, identify the recommended print side of the print media. This information is usually on the print media package.

2. Adjust the paper guides so they rest against the edges of the paper.  
 
 
   
3. Before loading the print media, flex the sheets back and forth, and then fan them. Straighten the edges of the stack on a level surface.  
 
 
   
4. Place the print media into the tray with the recommended print side face up.

Loading the Envelope  
   
To load an envelope in Tray 1, load envelopes with the flaps closed when the short - edges of the envelopes enter the printer, or with the flaps open when the 
long - edges of the envelopes enter the printer.

Loading the Envelope  
   
To load an envelope in the single sheet feeder, insert the envelope with the flap closed when the short edge of the envelop e faces into the printer. Place the 
envelope with the print side facing down and slide the envelope into the entry slot.  
 
   
Using the Single Sheet Feeder  
   
l Insert an envelope with the flap side face down and with the stamp area on the top right side.  
 
     
l Load letterhead face - down, with the top of the sheet entering the printer first....

Manual Duplex Printing from Tray 1  
Setting Method for Manual Duplex from Tray 1  
   
When you start manual duplex printing, the instruction windows appears. Note that you cannot display this window again if you close the window. Do not 
close the window until duplex printing is complete.  
1. First print the even pages. For a six page document, even pages are printed in the order page 6, page 4, then page 2.  
The  Continue  button blinks when the even pages finish printing.

3. Next print the odd pages. One sheet at a time, set the very top print that was turned over as it is with the blank side face down, then press the
