oneachsensor.Usewingnutstofastensensorsto 
brackets,withlensespointingtowardeachother 
acrossthedoor.Besurethelensisnotobstructed 
byabracketextension(Figure6). 
•Fingertightenthewingnuts. 
•Runthewiresfrombothsensorstotheopener.Use 
insulatedstaplestosecurewiretowallandceiling. 
•Strip1/4(6mm)ofinsulationfromeachsetof

Ahorizontalreinforcementbraceshouldbelong 
enoughtobesecuredtotwoverticalsupports,A 
verticalreinforcementbraceshouldcoverthe 
heightofthetoppanel,

horizontalbrace.Fortheverticalbrace,twopiecesof 
angleironareusedtocreateaU-shapedsupport 
(Figure1).Thebestsolutionistocheckwithyour

•Drill5/16pilotholesandfastenthebracketwith 
hardwaresupplied. 
Ifthedoorhasnoexposedframing,drill3/16pilot 
holesandfastenthebracketwith5/16x1-1/2lag 
screws(notprovided)tothetopofthedoor.

Forceadjustmentcontrolsarelocatedontheback 
panelofthemotorunit.Forceadjustmentsettings 
regulatetheamountofpowerrequiredtoopenand 
closethedoor. 
Iftheforcesaresettoolight,doortravelmaybe 
interruptedbynuisancereversalsinthedown 
directionandstopsintheupdirection.Weather 
conditionscanaffectthedoormovement,so 
occasionaladjustmentmaybeneeded. 
Themaximumforceadjustmentrangeisabout 
3/4ofacompleteturn,Donotforcecontrols

mustreverseonstrikingtheobstruction. 
ADJUST 
•Ifthedoorstopsontheobstruction,itisnot 
travelingfarenoughinthedowndirection. 
IncreasetheDOWNlimitbyturningtheDOWN
