    7.Releasetrigger,removeindexfingerfromtrigger,andapplySlideLock
    Safetybypushingitupintotheslidelocknotch.However,ifyouhavefiredthe
    lastroundfromthemagazinetheslidewillstaytotherearandyouwillbe

    unabletoapplytheSlideLockSafety.
    iliCAUTION:IFPISTOLFAILSTOFIRE,HOLDIT,KEEPINGITPOINTEDTO-
    WARDTHETARGETORSAFEOPENAREAANDWAIT30SECONDS.Ifa
    hangfire(slowignition)hasoccurred,roundwillfirewithin30seconds.If
    rounddoesnotfire,removemagazine,ejectroundandexamineprimer.If
    firingpinindentonprimerislight,offcenterornonexistent,havepistol
    examinedbyacompetentgunsmithbeforefiringagain.Iffiringpinonprimer
    appearsnormal(incomparisonwithsimilarpreviouslyfiredrounds)assume
    faultyammunition;segregatemisfiredroundfromotherliveammunition
    andemptycases;reloadandcarryonfiring.

    spring.Keeppressureonplugtopreventitbeingejectedbythespring,then
    allowplugandspringtograduallyextendoutoftheslide.(SeeFigure7).

    onespringinsidetheother.

    timerotatebarrelbushingcounterclockwiseaboutY.turn(SeeFigure7);then
    pullbushingforwardandout.Usingascrewdriver,pushtherecoilspringplugin
    andturnitabout%turntoleltorright.(SeeFigure8).Controlthespringforce
    asyoucarefullyallowtheplugandtworecoilspringstoextendoutoftheslide.
