acknowledgedsince1911.Manualandautomaticsafetydevices,includingthe
Series80FiringPinLock,canbedependedontoserveyoureliablyandsafely
providedyouhandlethepistolproperly.TheDeltaEliteandCombatEliteare
thesamesize,andhavemostofthefeaturesoftheGovernmentModel.
TheCombatCommanderandCommanderModel(Lightweight)semi-automatic
pistolsareidenticalinappearanceandfunction.TheydifferfromtheGovern-
mentModelinsize,weightandbarrelconfiguration,andtheydifferonefromthe
otherinthattheLightweighthasanaluminumreceiverinplaceofsteel.The
OfficersACPissimilarto,butsmallerthan,theCommanders.Ithasadifferent
barrelbushingconfiguration.
Thesepistolsareavailableindifferentcalibersandindifferentmetalfinishes
whichareshowninthetableopposite.Thisinstructionmanualappliestoall
thesevariationsofthepistolsandtocommemorativeissuesofthemcurrently
marketedbyColt.
TheGovernmentModelisillustratedthroughoutthismanualandthoseillustra-
tionsalsoapplytotheDeltaElite,CombatElite,andCombatTarget,allCom-
