1. Remove the AC receptacle panel covering the blower fan by removing the 
five screws as shown in Figure 4-3.

How to Clean the Airflow Sensor 
IMPORTANT: The air flow sensor is an extremely sensitive component and must be 
handled with extreme care. Any pressure greater than 20 P.S.I. applied to the sensor 
may result in permanent damage to the sensor.

For this procedure you will need the appropriate Roadster S+12K/HD12K, Matrix 
WU12, Mirage WU12, Roadster S+16K/Mirage S+14K or Roadster 
S+20K/HD18K/Mirage HD12/HD18/WU18 Lamp and Filter Replacement Kit 
manufactured by Christie Digital Systems. See Table 4.2.

 Do not touch the glass surface of the lamp. Fingerprints left on the surface can 
lead to an intense accumulation of heat called a “hotspot”, which could 
potentially result in the lamp shattering. It is recommended you wear clean, 
lint-free gloves and a face shield when working with the lamp.

5. REMOVE THE LAMP MODULE 
Firmly grasp the handle and pull the lamp module straight out of the projector. 
See Figure 4.5. Discard the lamp using safe disposal/recycling practices. 
 
 
 
6. INSERT THE NEW LAMP MODULE

module under both side alignment guides
