Allow the cooling fans to stop automatically (within 5 minutes) before proceeding with step 2. NOTE: This wait period is required to allow the lamp to sufficiently cool before handling. 2. RELEASE THE LAMP LOCK Pull out and turn the lamp lock lever, which is located to the left of the lamp module, turn it 1/4 turn counter clockwise to the “unlock” position. See Figure 5-2. LOCK IN THE NEW LAMP MODULE Pull out and turn the lamp lock lever 1/4 turn clockwise to “lock” the lamp in place.
