    You can set the interval from 3 to 30 minutes (in one-minute increments).

    NOTE
    – To resume normal mode from Sleep mode, press [ON/OFF] on the operation panel.
    – To enter Sleep mode manually, press [ON/OFF] on the operation panel.
    – The machine will not enter Sleep mode when:
     the machine is in operation
     a system error occurs
     the handset of the external telephone is off the hook*
    – The machine will leave Sleep mode when:
     you press [ON/OFF] on the operation panel
     a computer performs a scan through the machine

    Setting Auto Clear Time
    If the machine remains idle for a certain period of time, the display returns to standby 
    mode (Auto Clear function).
