To specify a location where the scanned i\fages are 
saved:
\fnce scanning is co\Implete, a folder is automatically displayed to 
which the scanned \Iimages are saved. By default, a folder bearing 
the scanning date is created inside the [My Pictures] folder in [My 
Documents]. (\fn Windows Vista/Windows 7, the folder is created in 
the [Pictures] folder.)

Cleaning the Exterior
Clean	the	exterior	of	the	machine	and	ventilation	slots.
1 Turn OFF the power switch \fnd disconnect the 
power cord.
2 Cle\fn the exterior of the m\fchine \Fwith \f soft, well 
wrung out cloth d\fmpe\Fned with w\f ter or mild 
detergent diluted with w\fter.
	 		
3 W\fit for the m\fchine to dry completely before 
rec
onnecting the power cord, \fnd then turn ON 
the power.

Follow	this	procedure	to	clean	the	platen	glass	and	under	
surface	of	the	feeder
.
1 Turn OFF the power switch \fnd disconnect the 
power cord.
2 Open the feeder.
	 		
3 Cle\fn the pl\ften gl\fss \fnd the unde\Fr surf\fce of 
the feeder

4 Close the feeder.
