381 W Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) 4 Exit the setting. Press the button.The print order screen will reappear. Next, select [Sel.Image], [Byn], or [ All image] to order the images to be printed. W Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) 382 RAW images and movies cannot be print ordered. Even if [Date ] and [File No.] are set to [ On], the date or file number may not be imprinted depending on the print type setting and printer model. With [Index ] prints, the [ Date] and [ File No. ] cannot both be set to [ On] at the same time. When printing with DPOF, use the card whose print order specifications have been set. It cannot be printed with the specified print order if you just extract images from the card and try to print them. Certain DPOF-compliant printers and photofinishers may not be able to print the images as you specified. Refer to the printer’s instruction manual before printing, or check with your photofinisher about compatibility when ordering prints. Do not insert into the camera a card whose print order was set by a different camera and then try to specify a print order. All the print orders may be overwritten inadvertently. Also, the print order may not be possible, depending on the image type. You can send images to a wireless co mpatible printer supporting PictBridge (Wireless LAN) and print them. 383 W Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) Sel.Image Select and order images one by one. By pressing the button, you can select images from a three-image display. To return to the single-image display, press the < u> button. Press the < M> button to save the print order to the card. [Standard] [Both] Press the keys to set the number of copies to be printed for the displayed image. [Index] Press to add a checkmark to the box [ X]. The image will be included in the index print. Byn Select [Mark all in folder] and select the folder. A print order for one copy of all the images in the folder will be specified. If you select [ Clear all in folder] and select the folder, the print order for that folder will all be canceled. All image If you select [Mark all on card], one copy of all the images on the card will be set for printing. If you select [Clear all on card], the print order will be cleared for all the images on the card. When using a printer supporting PictBridge, print no more than 400 images for one print order. If you specify more than this, all the images may not be printed.
384 You can specify up to 998 images to be printed in a photobook. When you use EOS Utility (EOS software) to transfer images to a computer, the specified images will be copied to a dedicated folder. This function is useful for ordering photobooks online. 1Select [Photobook Set-up]. Under the [x1] tab, select [ Photobook Set-up], then press < 0>. 2Select [Select images]. An image will be displayed. To display the three-image display, press the button. To return to the single-image display, press the < u> button. 3Select the image to be specified. Turn the dial to select the image to be specified, then press < 0>. Repeat this step to select another image. The number of images that have been specified will be displayed on the upper left of the screen. 385 p Specifying Images for a Photobook You can specify all the images in a folder or on a card at once.When [ x1: Photobook Set-up] is set to [All images in folder] or [All images on card ], all the images in the folder or on the card will be specified. To cancel the image s pecification, select [ Clear all in folder] or [Clear all on card ]. Specifying All Images in a Folder or on a Card RAW images and movies cannot be specified. Do not specify images already spec ified for a photobook in another camera for another photobook with this camera. The photobook settings may be overwritten.
386 You can adjust the brightness of the LCD monitor to make it easier to view. 1Select [LCD brightness]. Under the [52] tab, select [LCD brightness ], then press . 2 Adjust the brightness. 387 Changing Image Playback Settings Vertical images are rotated automatically so they are displayed vertically on the camera’s LCD monitor and on the computer instead of horizontally. You can change the setting for this feature. 1Select [Auto rotate]. Under the [51] tab, select [Auto rotate ], then press . 2Set the image rotation. Select the desired setting, then press < 0>. Onz D The vertical image is automatically rotated during playback on both the camera’s LCD monitor and on the computer. OnD The vertical image is automatica lly rotated only on the computer.Off The vertical image is not automatically rotated. 3 Auto Rotation of Vertical Images Auto rotation will not work with vertical images captured while auto rotation was [Off]. They will not rotate even if you later switch it to [On] for playback. Immediately after image capture, the vertical image will not be automatically rotated for the image review. If the vertical image is taken while the camera is pointed up or down, the image may not be rotated automatically for playback. If the vertical image is not automatically rotated on the computer screen, it means the software you are using is unable to rotate the image. Using the EOS software is recommended.
389 10 Post-ProcessingImages You can process RAW images, resize or crop JPEG images, and apply a Creative filter. The O icon at the upper right of t he page title indicates that the function is available only in Creative Zone modes (d/ s/f/a/F). The camera may not be able to process images taken with another camera. Post-processing images as described in this chapter cannot be performed if the camera is set for multiple exposures or when it is connected to a computer via an interface cable.
390 You can process 1 images with the camera and save them as JPEG images. As the RAW image itself does not change, you can apply different processing conditions to create any number of JPEG images from it. Note that 41 and 61 images cannot be processed with the camera. Use Digital Photo Professional (EOS software, p.512) to process those images. 1Select [RAW image processing]. Under the [31] tab, select [RAW image processing], then press < 0>. 1 images will be displayed. 2Select an image. Turn the dial to select the image you want to process. By pressing the button, you can switch to the index display and select an image. 3Process the image. Press to make the RAW processing options appear in a while (p.392).
