SETUP SEND 7 - 4 Color Fax Transmission Your fax machine allows you to transmit a color fax. 1Place the original face down in the ADF. 2Enter the fax number using the dial pad, Speed Dial or Search. 3Press Color Fax Start. 7 - 5 SETUP SEND Real Time Transmission When you are sending a fax, the fax machine will scan originals into memory before sending. Then, as soon as the phone line is free, the fax machine will start dialing and sending the fax. If memory becomes full, the fax machine will send the document in real time (even if REAL TIME TX is set to OFF). SETUP SEND 7 - 6 Canceling a Job in Memory You can cancel tasks you’ve scheduled, such as Polling Transmit, or faxes waiting in Memory to be sent. 7 - 7 SETUP SEND Advanced Sending Operations Composing Electronic Cover Page The cover page is generated at the receiving party’s machine. Your cover page includes the name stored in the One Touch or Speed Dial memory. If you’re dialing manually, the name is left blank. The cover page indicates your Station ID and the number of pages you’re sending. If you have Cover page Setup set to ON, the number of pages remains blank.
