If you are dialing overseas, you can press Redial/Pause as many times as needed to increase the length of the pause. Then it dials the fax number you’ve programmed and forwards t he fax message. 1Press Menu, 2, 5, 1. 2Press or to select Fax Forward. Press Set. 8 - 2 REMOTE FAX OPTIONS Programming your pager number When Paging is selected, your MFC dials the pager number you’ve programmed, and then dials your Personal Identification Number (PIN). This activates your pager so you will know that you have a fax message in the memory. 1Press Menu, 2, 5, 1. 2Press or to select Paging. REMOTE FAX OPTIONS 8 - 3 Setting Fax Storage If you set Fax Storage to ON, you will be able to retrieve fax messages from another location using Fax Forwarding, Paging, or Remote Retrieval operations. Before you use the remote access and retrieval features, you have to set up your own code.
