automaticallyreadsthebarcodeprinted

asthebrewingtimeandtemperature
requiredtopreparethechosenbeverage.

TheMAVEA MAXTRAcartridgesmaybe obtainedfromvariousretailersorfrom TASSIMOCustomerServiceDepartment at1-877-TDISCS1oronlyintheUSAon www.tassimo.com. Yourmachinecanalsobeoperatedwithout afiltercartridge;simplyremovethefilter holderandfiltercartridgefromthewater tank. Activate MAVEA memo display Formaximumfilterperformanceand anti- scaleprotection,theMAVEAMA XTR A filtercartridgemustbereplacedevery 8weeks. Toensurethisisdone,thecoverofthe watertankhasabuilt-inMAVEAmemo display.Ittellsyoubymeansofbarswhen thefiltercartridgeshouldbereplaced. ToactivatetheMAVEAmemodisplay, pleasepressandholdthestartbuttonuntil thefourbarsbrieflylightuptwiceinthe displayarea. Theblinkingdotinthelowerrightcorner tellsyouthatthememodisplayisworking.
