8 Section 2: Driver Functions Motor Selection The DPE25601 incorporates a Bipolar Microstep Driver. Step motors with low current ratings and high inductance will perform better at low speeds, providing higher low-end torque. Motors with high current ratings and low inductance will perform better at higher speeds, providing more high-end torque. 9 Section 3: Controller Functions Methods of Communication There are two methods for sending commands to the DPE25601. One is to directly talk to the DPE25601 by using Direct Talk Mode.
