19 REPLACING AND CHECKING THE CARBON BRUSHES In order to keep your tool running correctly, you need to check your carbon brushes after every one hundred hours (100 hrs) of use. Carbon brushes wear out ove\ r time based on tool’s usage. If a carbon brush is worn out, it may cause the motor to malfu\ nction or fail to run.
