Installation Avoid placing the Charge and Sync Station Mini 10 in a location subject to: • High humidity • High temperature • Excessive dust • Mechanical vibration • Direct sunlight • Electromagnetic radiation It is very important to place the unit in a well ventilated area. This device is not meant for outdoor use. Good care will help assure maximum product life. Improper operating environment and misuse may void the warranty. Transportation Keep the original packing materials for future moving or shipping of your Charge and Sync Station Mini 10. Warning Do not allow children to handle or use this product without direct adult supervision.
www.aleratec.com4 Using the Charge and Sync Station Mini 10 Connection Setting up the power connection to your Charge and Sync Station Mini 10. 1. Turn OFF the power switch. 2. Plug the power adaptor to the unit’s power jack and hand-turn the connector until tight. 3. Plug in the power adapter.
www.aleratec.com5 Using the Charge and Sync Station Mini 10 Connection - Continued 4. If syncing, use the USB A to B cable provided and connect the USB B end on the unit. Connect the USB A end to your host computer. Set the CHARGE / SYNC switch to SYNC. If charging, set the CHARGE / SYNC switch to CHARGE (connecting a computer is not necessary for charging). Sync times will vary greatly depending on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your computer and the amount of data being synced. After syncing, eject each device individually or close iTunes.
