Single nonspecific machine macros
If a macro has been created in reference to a single MX 2424, it will be added to this list. These macros
can be played to any machine specified in the Play destination area at the bottom of the Manage/play
macros window.

Import
To open a macro that has been saved to disk, select the Import button. The Import window will open.
Select the desired macro and click Open to import the macro into the list.
Export
Select the desired macro and click Export to name and save the macro to disk.

Delete
To delete a macro permanently from the list, select the macro then click the delete button. The system
will not provide a safety warning, and the macro will be immediately deleted.  There is no UNDO for this
operation.
Function Key Assign
Any listed macro may be assigned to a function key. This allows the macro to be played from the

The Timecode Calculator is provided as a convenience for calculating sums and differences of SMPTE
time code numbers or feet and frames numbers.

Edit Commands
Audio clips in the Project EDL view may be edited by using the edit command buttons at the top of the

Preparing to Edit
Two important things must occur before any edit operations can be performed. First, the material to be
edited must be selected. Second, the desired tracks must be selected for editing.
