Avoid touching the print head with hard objects. ♦ The print head may be hot if your fax machine has just received a large number of documents. Maintenance 128 Scanning glass and rollers Clean the scanning glass and rollers frequently to ensure the quality of transmitted images and copies. Open the operation panel (grasp the finger hold and pull up), and wipe the scanning glass and rollers with a soft cloth. ♦ Make sure that all dirt and stains (such as correcting fluid) are removed, as dirts and stains will cause vertical lines on transmitted images and copies. ♦ Adhesive cellophane tape is useful for removal of debris from the rollers....
