    Use fine tuning to manually adjust a particular channel for optimal reception.

    Tune”, then press the

    To store the fine tuning 
    setting in the TV’s memory,

    To reset the fine tuning

    • Only analog TV channels 
    can be fine tuned.

    side of the channel number in the
    channel banner.

    Unlike analog channels, which can vary in reception quality from “snowy” to clear,
    digital (HDTV) channels have either perfect reception quality or you will not receive
    them at all. So, unlike analog channels, you cannot fine tune a digital channel.
    You can, however, adjust your antenna to improve the reception of available digital
    channels.

    LNA (Low Noise Amplifie\b)
    If the TV is operating in a weak\bsignal area, sometimes the LNA function can improve
    the reception (a low\bnoise preamplifier boosts the incoming signal).

    PC DISPLAY

    The Windows display\bsettings for a typical computer are shown below. The actual screens on your PC
    will probably be different, depending upon your particular version of Windows and your particular video
    card. However, even if your actual screens look different, the same basic set\bup information will apply in
    almost all cases. (If not, contact your computer manufacturer or Samsung Dealer.)
    1First, click on “Control Panel” on the Windows start
    menu.
    4Navigate to the “\bettings” tab on the display dialog\bbox.
    The correct size setting (resolution)
    \fptimum: 1360 x 768 pixels
    If a vertical\bfrequency option exists on your display
    settings dialog box, the correct value is “60” or “60 Hz”.
    Otherwise, just click “\fK” and exit the dialog box.

    How to Auto Adjust
    Use the Auto Adjust function to have the TV set automatically adjust the video signals
    the monitor receives. The function also automatically fine\btunes the settings and adjusts
    the frequency values and positions.  
    Note: This function does not work in DVI\bDigital mode.

    The purpose of the picture quality adjustment is to remove or reduce picture noise.
    If the noise is not removed by fine tuning alone, then do the frequency adjustments to
    the utmost and fine tune again. After the noise has been reduced, re\badjust the picture
    so that it is aligned on the center of screen.
