Ideally, the printer and paper storage environment should be at or near room temperature, and not too dry or humid. Remember that paper is hygroscopic; it absorbs and loses moisture rapidly. Successful printing on envelopes depends upon the quality of the envelopes. Be sure the seam extends all the way to the corner of the envelope as illustrated below.
