Loading Paper 99 5 Specifying Standard Size Paper for the Bypass Tray This describes how to load standard size paper into the bypass tray. ASet the paper size using the control panel. Press the {Menu} key. BSelect [Paper Input] using {T} or {U}, and then press the {OK} key. CSelect [Paper Size: Bypass] using {T} or {U}, and then press the {OK} key. Replace the toner cartridge if the following message appears on the display: “Add Toner: (color)” A combination of one to four colors, yellow, magenta, cyan, black, appears in “(color)”. Turn the locking lever of the toner cartridge towards the triangle mark ( ), and then lift out the toner cartridge ( ). Do not shake the removed toner cartridge. Remaining toner may leak. Pull the toner cartridge out slowly and carefully to prevent leakage. Place the old toner cartridge on paper or some other material to avoid dirt- ying your workspace. Holding the toner cartridge horizontally ( ) with the locking lever on the upper side, install the toner cartridge bottom first, and then move the locking lever to the triangle mark ( ). GTurn the locking lever to the circle mark. Pull the locking lever toward you, until it locks into place. Do not repeatedly install and remove toner cartridges. Doing so results in toner leak.
