    Using Caller ID
Caller ID lets you know who’s calling by displaying the number
of the person calling when your phone rings. Similarly, if you
call someone who has this feature, your phone number displays
on their phone. If the caller’s name and number are already
stored in your Contacts list, the corresponding name appears
    with the number.
To block your phone number from being displayed for a specific
    outgoing call:
    1.Press .
2.Enter the number you want to call.
    3.Press .
To permanently block your number, call PCS Customer Solutions.
    Responding to Call Waiting
Call Waiting alerts you to incoming calls while you’re on a call
by sounding beeps. The display screen informs you that a call is
coming in and shows the caller’s phone number (if it is
available and you are in digital mode).
To respond to an incoming call while you’re on a call:
1.Press . (This puts the first caller on hold and answers
    the second call.)

3A: PCS Service Features - The Basics 86
    Making a Three-Way Call
With Three-Way Calling, you can talk to two people at the same

again to begin your three-way call.
If one of the people you called hangs up during your call, you
and the remaining caller stay connected. If you initiated the call
and are the first to hang up, all three callers are disconnected.
Tip: You can also begin a three-way call by displaying a phone number stored in your Contacts list, Call logs, or Messaging.
    Using Call Forwarding

number to send text messages from your PCS Phone to their
messaging-ready phone—and they can send messages to you.
When you receive a new message, you’ll be automatically notified.
You can use predictive text to make messaging simpler (see

addition, PCS messaging includes a variety of pre-set messages

at,” to make composing messages fast and easy.
Note: PCS Messaging is not available while roaming off the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.
Note: Text messages are limited to 160 characters.

intended destination. For more details about messaging services, check

    Games

You can play a variety of entertaining and graphically-rich
    games on your PCS Phone.
The following features in this phone may share memory:
Gallery tones, images, and games. Using such features may
reduce the memory available for other features that share
memory. This is especially true with their heavy use (although
some of the features may have memory allotted to them in
addition to the amount of memory shared with other features).
For example, installing many games may take all of the shared
memory. In this case, delete some of those features that use
    shared memory before continuing.

To customize the settings for your games:
1.Press Menu, scroll to Games, and press Select.
2.Scroll to Settings and press Select.
