71LSQT1319 Disc and SD card management 3 Formatting a disc/an SD card (RAM) (-RW‹VR›) (-RW‹V›) This is for initializing discs. Please be aware that if a disc is formatted, then all the data recorded on the disc will be erased. ¬Rotate the mode dial to select or . 1Select the menu. Do not format the disc as all the important data recorded on the disc will be erased and cannot be recovered. ≥When playing back a disc on a DVD recorder/ player, place the device so that the disc lies flat. 1For a DVD-RW or a DVD-R/DVD-R DL disc Finalize the disc on this unit. (Read the operating instructions for the printer.) ¬Connect this unit to the AC adaptor and turn on the unit. 1Connect this unit and a printer. 2Select [PictBridge] and press the joystick. 78LSQT1319 Before using 1 What you can do with a PC When you have installed VideoCam Suite from the supplied CD-ROM and connected your PC to the unit, you can perform the operations described below. APlay back images recorded by this unit on a PC. BCopy images recorded by this unit onto the PC hard disk. Select the desired images and create original DVD-Video discs. CEdit (split, merge, or delete) images copied to a PC. Create playlists. ≥VideoCam Suite can handle images recorded with this unit or by using VideoCam Suite. Images created with other video cameras, DVD recorders, software and commercial DVD-Videos are not supported. ≥We cannot guarantee proper operation of this unit if you use software other than that supplied. ∫Adobe Reader To view the installed operating instructions, Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader) 5.0 or later is required. If the Adobe Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader) is not already installed on your PC, you can install it from the CD-ROM.
