27 Cleaning and Maintenance Accessories Wash with diluted kitchen detergent and sponge. Inner pan Be sure to remove the power plug and carry out these operations when the unit is cold. Do not use objects such as benzine, thinner, cleansing powder or metal or nylon scrubs. Unit and Outer lid Wipe with a firmly wrung wet cloth. Do not use kitchen detergent. Wipe clean the area around the steam outlet if there is any yellowing after using chemical additives or rice improvers during cooking. Wipe the recessed area clean with a dry cloth after every use. Note Inner lid Wash with diluted kitchen detergent and sponge, then attach it to the outer lid with the small side of the inner lid packing facing you. (See page 7 for details.) If dirt cannot be cleaned even after carrying out the above, use the detergent containing cleanser that will not damage stainless steel, then wipe with a cloth or sponge.Wash with diluted kitchen detergent (synthetic) and sponge. Color of the inner pan may become uneven as it is being used, but the performance or safety will not be affected. Pan Sensor and Heater If any object gets stuck to the pan sensor or heater, lightly polish it off with a nylon scrub containing a small amount of synthetic detergent. Then, wipe with a firmly wrung cloth. Note Replace the inner pan if its non-stick coating comes off (harmless) or it becomes deformed. 28 Nettoyage et entretien Accessoires Laver avec une solution de détersif diluée et une éponge. Casserole S’assurer de débrancher le cordon d’alimentation et de laisser l’appareil refroidir avant de continuer. Ne pas utiliser de produits comme le benzène, les diluants, les poudres à récurer ou les tampons en laine d’acier ou en nylon. Unit and Outer lid Essuyer avec un linge humide bien essoré. Ne pas utiliser de détersif pour la cuisine. Nettoyer la région entourant la sortie de vapeur si elle est jaunie par l’emploi d’additifs chimiques ou d’améliorants pendant la cuisson. Nettoyer la surface encastrée avec un linge sec après chaque usage. Nota Couvercle intérieur Nettoyer avec une éponge et une solution de détersif, puis le fixer au couvercle extérieur, le petit côté du couvercle intérieur vers l’avant. (Voir les détails à la page 12.) Si la saleté ne peut pas être éliminée par les méthodes ci-dessus, utiliser un détersif contenant un nettoyant sans danger pour l’acier inoxydable et essuyer avec un linge ou une éponge.Laver avec une solution de détersif diluée (synthétique) et une éponge. Il se peut que le fini de la casserole se décolore avec l’usage, mais cela n’a aucun effet sur le rendement ou la sécurité. Senseur de casserole et élément chauffant Si un objet vient à adhérer sur le senseur ou l’élément chauffant, polir légèrement avec un tampon en nylon imbibé d’un peu de détergent synthétique. Ensuite, essuyer avec un linge humide bien essoré. Nota Remplacer la casserole si son fini antiadhérent s’enlève (sans danger) ou si elle se déforme.
