6 Setup Menu 120 6.7 Viewing SD Memory Card Information 1.Select [SD Card Info] from the [Setup] screen (see page 95) and press [ENTER]. • The SD Memory Card Management screen appears. Formatting an SD Memory Card Select [Format] and press [ENTER] to initialize an SD memory card. Note • Once formatting begins, all data on the card will be erased. Be careful not to format the wrong card.

Cursor The text entered can be registered by pressing [STOP] or by selecting [SET] then pressing [ENTER]. The display will return to the previous screen. The last character entered (the character to the left of the cursor) can be erased by pressing [1] or by selecting [ERASE] then pressing [ENTER].

8 Other Features 124 Extended display information The extended display information is comprised of 3 separate panels, controlling image quality (resolution), pan and tilt scanning, and image brightness. After selecting a panel and changing a setting, press [ENTER] to see apply the changes. Note • Other keys (including those for Camera List and Menu screen display) will not function while the extended display is displayed. To use these keys, press [ENTER] to change screens first. • In preset registration, the resolution and brightness set at registration will also be registered (see page 59). SettingDescription QualityControls the resolution of the monitored image. Setting the resolution to low will shrink the displayed image. High: 640x480 pixels Low: 320x240 pixels Scan ControlControls the panning and tilting scans of the camera. Movies recorded manually while monitoring the camera image will be recorded at the monitoring resolution and displayed as .Elapsed and remaining playback time

8 Other Features [For assistance, please call: 1-800-272-7033] 129 8.5 Temporarily Disconnecting a Camera When multiple users attempt to access and monitor the same camera, the network load increases and the camera's operational speed decreases. If necessary (for example, when watching a program on the television), halt the video feed from the camera and disconnect it. 1.Press [MENU]. • The menu is displayed. 2.Press [STOP]. • The connection to displayed cameras is stopped, and the Menu screen's background turns blue. To reconnect a camera (and restart its video feed): • Press [PLAY] while the Menu screen is displayed. • Select the camera from the Camera List. If you restart the BL-WV10A, the camera should automatically re-connect.
