33 Playback Clip management Selecting clips When performing operations on the thumbnail display screen, select the clip which will be the target of these operations as follows. 1 Using [FF] or [REW], move the yellow frame (cursor) to the target clip. 2 Press [STILL]. A bluish-green frame now appears at the clip where the cursor is positioned to indicate that the clip has been selected. 34 Clip management (continued) Repairing and connecting clips Repairing defective clips The defective clip indicator (yellow X) appears in order to indicate that there is a problem in the clip such as the power having been suddenly cut off while it was being recorded. 35 Playback Copying clips Clips can be copied onto the P2 cards in either of the P2 card slots. • While clips are being copied, do not turn off the power or eject the card. Otherwise, defective clips will be produced.
