Listening to voicemail
messages
When new messages have been recorded:
–“Voicemail msg. via phone co. ” is
displayed if message indication service is
available.
– The message indicator flashes slowly if the handset or base unit message indicator’s
“New VM ” setting is enabled (page 28).

TroubleshootingIf you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the base unit’s
AC adaptor, then reconnect the base unit’s AC adaptor. Remove the batteries from the handset,
and then insert them into the handset again.
If the base unit batteries for power backup are installed, remove the batteries from the base unit,
and then insert them into the base unit again.

Liquid damage

Liquid or other form of moisture
has entered the handset/base
unit.RDisconnect the AC adaptor and telephone line cord from
the base unit. Remove the batteries from the base unit
and handset and leave to dry for at least 3 days. After the
handset/base unit are completely dry, reconnect the AC
adaptor and telephone line cord. Insert the batteries and
