The setting should stay at “700 ms” unless pressing {FLASH} fails to pick up the call waiting call. *6 Generally, the line mode setting should not be adjusted. LYou can record melodies for the handset ringer tone from an audio device (page 47). LColor display models only (KX-TG5766/ KX-TGA571): You can copy melodies (in WAV file format using a computer) to be used for the handset ringer tone. Changing handset name Each handset can be given a customized name (“Bob”, “Kitchen”, etc.), this is useful when you make intercom calls between handsets. The default setting is “Handset 1” to “Handset 8”. You can also select whether or not the handset name is displayed in standby mode.
