Conference, Unattended
Conditions DescriptionWhen a proprietary telephone user is in a conference with two
outside parties, the user can leave the conference to allow the other
two parties to continue conversation. This is called an Unattended
Conference. The user may return to the conference, if desired.l An Unattended Conference can be established when the extension is

success of the operation by sending a confirmation tone to the

Consultation Hold
DescriptionAllows the extension user to place a call on hold temporarily to
transfer it, make a Conference call, or perform Call Splitting. The
held call can be retrieved from other extensions.
Conditions
l With a proprietary telephone, Consultation Hold is established by
pressing TRANSFER or CONF button. With a standard telephone, it is
established by pressing the hookswitch lightly.
l With a standard telephone, the user can hold a call only to transfer it.

Dial Type Selection
DescriptionAllows you to select the desired dialing mode for each outside line
regardless of originating call extension (rotary or tone).
There are three dialing modes available:

answering points.

users to make calls but can be used by only one extension to
receive calls.

Conditions Description
External callers can call extensions in the system. An outgoing
message greets the caller and gives information about how to
access an extension.
