    pressed.
     Install Position [Desktop, Hanging]
    “Desktop” or “Hanging” is selected here as \ethe method 
    used to install the \eunit.
    Desktop Stand-alone installa\etion

        When “Hanging” has been selected, t\ehe top, bottom, 
    left and right of the images \ewill be reversed, and  
    up/down/left/right control for panning and tilt\eing will also 
    be reversed.
     Preset Speed [1 to 3\p0]
    There are 30 preset pan-tilt operation speeds when 
    regenerating the camera direction and oth\eer information 
    which are registered\e in the preset memory.
    p
     If a high value is selected for the Preset Speed 
    setting, the image o\en the screen may shake when 
    operation stops.
    p
     When connecting the \eunit to the \bW -RP655 for use, 
    the “DI\bGON\bL SP\f\fD (P/T S\fT\eTING)” setting of 
    the \bW -RP655 takes effect.  
    To change the Preset \eSpeed, change the 
    \bW -RP655 setting.
    Notes
      Preset Scope [\bode A, \bode B, \bode C]
    Selected here are the \esetting items to be \erecalled when 
    the contents of the \epreset memory are regenerated.
    Mode \b Pan, Tilt, Zoom (includi\eng digital zoom),

    Mode B Pan, Tilt, Zoom (includi\eng digital zoom),

    Mode C Pan, Tilt, Zoom (includi\eng digital zoom), Focus
     Digital Zoom [Disab\ple, Enable]
    “\fnable” or “Disable” is set here for the digital zoom 
    function.
    If zooming is performed toward the Tele end beyond the 
    maximum position when “\fnable” has been selected, t\ehe 
    digital zoom can be operated continuously. Zooming will 
    stop temporarily at the position \ewhere the optical zoom 
    and digital zoom are switched so after it\e has stopped at 
    this position, proc\eeed with zooming again.
    When the setting is \echanged to “Disable” while already in 
    the digital zoom region, the zoom will automatica\elly move 
    to the maximum position of the \eoptical zoom.
    p
     The digital zoom is set to off w\ehen color bars are 
    displayed during digital zooming.
    Note
      Speed With Zoom POS. [Off, On]
    “Off ” or “On” is set here for the function use\ed to adjust the 
    camera direction’s adjustment speed i\en conjunction with\e 
    the zoom magnification.\e
    When “On” is set, the panning\e and tilting operations will 
    become slower in the zoom status.
    This function has \eno effect during preset operations.
     Focus \bode [Auto, \banual]
    “\buto” or “Manual” is set here for the focusing function.
    \buto The subjects are alw\eays brought into focus 
    automatically.
    Manual The focus is operated manually.
     Focus ADJ With PTZ. [Off, On]
    “Off ” or “On” is set here for the function whi\ech 
    compensates for out-of-focusing when it occ\eurs during 
    panning, tilting or\e zooming operations at the manual focus 
    setting.
    When “Off ” is set, adjust the\e focus as required af\eter 
    zooming or set the f\eocus to the auto mo\ede. 
    This item can be sel\eected only when “Manual” has been 
    selected as the “Focus Mode” setting.
     Tall\f Enable [Disable, Enable]
    “\fnable” or “Disable” is set here for the function whi\ech 
    turns on or turns off the tally lam\ep using the tally co\entrol

    Whether the camera menus, statuses and othe\er displays 
    are to be turned Off or On can b\ee selected here for each 
    output picture.
     SDI(HD\bI)/CO\bP [Off, On, Off B\fBrowser]
      Browser/Video [Off, On]
    Off The camera menus and statuses are\e not 
    displayed on the output pic\etures targeted by 
    the setting items li\ested above.
    On The camera menus and statuses are\e 
    displayed for the output pictur\ees covered by 
    the setting items li\ested above.
    Off 
    ByBrowser If a menu has been opened fro\em the 
    browser screen, the cam\eera menus and 
    statuses are not di\esplayed on the output 
    images for which this setti\eng is established.

     \fven if the display has been set to th\ee off position 
    the camera menus will still be disp\elayed for one 
    minute whenever the power of the unit is t\eurned on.
    Note
      OSD Off With Tall\f [Off, On]
    This is used to ena\eble or disable the function for clearing 
    the OSD menu displays when the tally si\egnal is received 
    by a command or con\etact.
    When the tally signa\el is released, the or\eiginal OSD menu 
    displays are restored.

      IP address
      [1 to 128 half‑size characters]
    
    Input here the IP ad\edress of the camera whose images 
    are to be displayed on the multi screen or the h\eost name 
    (“Camera title”). With one group consisting of \e4 cameras, 
    up to four groups of cameras (a total of 16 c\eameras) can 
    be registered.
    Input as follows if the HTTP port number of the camera 
    whose images are to \ebe displayed has been changed.\e
    \fxample of input:

     When the host name i\es to be set, the DNS\e setting of 
    the personal computer\e that will display the multi screen 
    is required (see page\e 89).
     Camera title

    Input the camera title here. The camera title which has 
    been input is displayed on the multi screen.

     When a multi screen with 16 \esub-screens has been\e 
    selected, the camera titles may be displayed only in

     Access level
    
    Select one of the following settings as th\ee user access 
    level.

    1. \bdministrator This access level allows the user to 
    perform all the unit’s operations.
    2. Camera control This access level allows only Live 
    screen operations to be performed.
    3. Live only This access level enables only Live 
    screen to be displayed.
    The unit cannot be \eoperated or set.
     User check
    \b pull-down menu can be opened here, and the registered\e 
    users checked.
    \b registered user is \eindicated in the form of “Registered 
    user name [\bccess level]”.
    (\fxample: admin[1])
    To delete a registered \euser, select the user to \ebe deleted,

    Host authorization is set to “On” or “Off ” here.
     IP address
    
    The IP address of t\ehe personal computer \efrom which 
    access to the camera is allowed is input here.
    The host name canno\et be input as the IP\e address.

     When the “IP address/subnet \emask length” is input, the 
    personal computers wh\eich are allowed to access the 
    camera can be restricted on a subnet b\ey subnet basis.  
    If, for instance, “192.168.0.1/24” has been input and \e
    the “2. Camera control” setting has been se\elected as 
    the access level setting, the perso\enal computers from 
    “192.168.0.1” to “192.168.0.254” will be able to access 
    the camera at the “2. Camera control” access level.

     When an already regi\estered IP address is\e input and 
    the Set button is clicked, the host information will be 
    overwritten.

    Select one of the following settings as th\ee host access

      Host check
    \b pull-down menu can be opened here, and the IP 
    addresses of the reg\eistered hosts checked.

    (page 67) and a value with an asterisk (*) is selected, 
    the image refresh in\eterval may become longer than\e 
    the value which is set.

      Time adjustment
    
    Select one of the following settings as th\ee time adjustment 
    method.
    The time is adjusted\e by the method selected\e here and 
    used as the unit’s standard time.
    Off The time is counted \efrom 0:00 on 
    January 1, 1990 as the un\eit’s startup 
    time.
    Synchronization 
    with NTP server The time automatica\elly adjusted in 
    synchronization wi\eth the NTP server is 
    used as the unit’s standard time.
     
    NTP server address
      [1 to 128 half‑size characters]
    
    The host name or IP\e address of the NTP\e server is input 
    here.

     To input the “NTP server address” host name, 
    the DNS setting (pag\ee 89) must be selected on th\ee 
    Network screen of the Network settings.

    which the unit is g\eoing to be used.

    Whether the DHCP fun\ection is to be used\e is set by 
    selecting “On” or “Off ” here. Set the DHCP server in 
    such a way that the same IP \eaddress cannot be u\esed by 
    personal computers wi\ethout the DHCP func\etion or by other 
    network cameras. 
    For details on the se\erver settings, consult your network 
    administrator.

    Input the unit’s IP address here wh\een the DHCP functio\en 
    is not going to be \eused. Input an address t\ehat will not 
    duplicate an existing IP address \ewhich has been set f\eor a 
    personal computer or \eanother network camera.
