    Genlock adjustment (AW‑HE60S onl\f)(continued)
    When performing the operatio\pns using the contr\poller
    These operations can be performed using the camera 
    menus by following the operation steps in “Basic operations” 
    (pages 32 to 39).
    To switch between “B\bR” (color bar display) and “C\bM” 
    (camera pictures), press t\ehe [MOD\f] or [B\bR/C\b\eM] button.

    Basic operations
    Camera menus are displayed on the monitor w\ehen the unit’s 
    settings are to be s\eelected.
    The monitor is conn\eected to the video s\eignal output 
    connector.
    The basic camera menu operations involve displaying 
    sub-menus from the Top Menu items, and selecting sett\eings 
    on the sub-menus.
    Some sub-menus have menu items for performing more 
    detailed settings.
    The camera menu operations are conducte\ed using the 
    wireless remote contr\eol.
    If a controller is c\eonnected, they can also be condu\ected using 
    the controller.p
     It may be necessary to upgrade the controller’s version in 
    order to support the \bW -H\f60.
    For further details, consult with your dealer.
    Described below are the basic oper\eations for changing the 
    camera menu item settings usi\eng the wireless remot\ee control 
    and controller (\bW -RP655, \bW-RP555 or \bW -RP50).Onl\f the steps taken u\psing the wireless r\pemote 
    control will be described\p here for the operations 
    conducted to select\p and set the items\p.
    For details of the \poperations conducte\pd using the 
    controller, substitute “controller” for “wireless 
    remote control” when reading the \pbasic operations.
    Also, refer to the Operating\p Instructions of t\phe 
    controller.

    2 seconds.

     Perform the menu operations and exit from the menus using the contro\eller which displayed the Top Menu.
    If a menu operation has been performed or a menu has been exited using another\e controller, first display the Top Menu 
    and exit from it using \eone controller, and then display the Top Menu and exit from it using \ethe other controller.
    p
     The unit uses a dif\eferent method to operate its menus from the one emplo\eyed by the convertible cameras (except for the 
    \bW -H\f870) and HD integ\erated cameras which have already been launch\eed onto the market.  
    For details, refer to the Operating Instructions of the came\era concerned.

     The response speed of \ethe camera differs slightly dependin\eg on the controller \eused.

    1	Press the [CA\b1], [CA\b2], [CA\b3] or [CA\b4] 
    button to select the\p unit which is to be 
    operated.
    2	Press the [\bENU] button for 2 seconds.
    The Top Menu is displayed.
    3	Press the [] or [] button to bring the\p cursor 
    to the item to be \pselected.
    \fach time the [] or [] button is pressed, th\ee cursor 
    moves.
    The cursor can be m\eoved in the same way using the [] 
    and [] buttons.
    4	Press the [] button.
    The sub-menu of the selected ite\em is displayed.
    (Some sub-menu items have a sub-menu of their own.)
    5	Press the [] or [] button to bring the\p cursor 
    to the item to be \pset.

    moves.
    The cursor can be m\eoved in the same way using the [] 
    and [] buttons.
    With the cursor at \ethe “Return” position, press the\e [] 
    button to return to the previous menu.
    6	Press the [] button.
    The value of the item to \ebe set starts blinking.
    7	Press the [] or [] button to change the 
    setting.
    The setting can be c\ehanged in the same w\eay using the 
    [] and [] buttons.
    8	Press the [] button.
    The value of the item to \ebe set is entered, an\ed it stops 
    blinking.
    9	After the setting \phas been completed,\p press the 
    [\bENU] button for 2 seconds.

    and Night mode.
    For selecting the

    Each time the [EXT(AF\p)] 
    button is pressed, 
    the focus setting is 
    switched between auto 
    focus and manual focus.
    When auto focus is 
    selected, the [EXT(AF)] 
    button lights.
    When the focus setting 
    is switched between 
    auto focusing and 
    manual focusing b\f the 
    camera, the resulting 
    status (lamp on or \poff) 
    will not be reflecte\pd in 
    the button.
    The unit does not \phave 
    an ABC function.

    setting change.
    When the LCD is in\p the gain 
    adjustment mode

    goes off; when it is not co\pmpleted successfull\f, it 
    lights up.

    the white balance m\pode of the main un\pit is ATW, or 
    when the Color Bar \pis being displa\fed.

    *4:    The R gain and B gain cannot be adj\pusted if ATW is

       With this unit, the gain setting \pis reflected in 
    increments of 3 dB in the control.

    of 15 dB in the control.  
    On the camera menu, the setting is ad\pjusted in 
    range from –10 to +10.

    1	Press one of the [\p1] to [5] buttons of 
    [CONTROL/PREVIEW \bONITOR OUT SEL] to 
    select the unit whi\pch is to be operated\p.
    2	Press the [\bENU] button to set the L\pCD panel 
    displa\f to the menu mode.
    3	Turn the jog dial (m\pain) until CA\bERA SE\pTTING 
    appears, and press the [OK]\p button.

    LCD panel, press the [OK] button again.

    The camera menu of the \bW-H\f60 is displayed on the 
    monitor.
    6	Turn the jog dial (m\pain) to select came\pra menu 
    items of the AW‑HE60 and change the data.
    Turn the jog dial (mai\en) when the cursor \eis to be moved 
    up or down or the settings \eare to be changed.
    Press it when moving to the menu at the next lower 
    hierarchical level or changing a setting at the very bottom 
    hierarchical level.
    7	Press the [\bENU] button to exit the camera 
    menu.

     Genlock is set using the c\eamera menu for the 
    \bW -H\f60.
    p
     It may be necessary to upgrade the software version 
    in order to operate an \bW -H\f60 from an \bW-RP655.

    If the [Y\fS] button is pressed, th\ee selection item moves 
    up; if the [NO] button is pressed, it\e moves down.
    4	Press the [ITE\b] button.
    The value of the item to \ebe set starts blinking.
    5	Press the [YES] or \p[NO] button to change the 
    setting.
    6	After deciding on \pthe setting, press the [ITE\b] 
    button.
    The value of the item to \ebe set is entered, an\ed it stops 
    blinking.
    7	Press the [\bENU] button for 2 seconds to exit 
    the camera menu.

    Turn the F1 dial to mo\eve the cursor up or d\eown or 
    change the setting.
    Press it to move to the menu at the next lower 
    hierarchical level or change a blinking setting at t\ehe very 
    bottom hierarchical level.
     
    4	Press the [CA\bERA OSD] button for 2 seconds 
    to exit the camera men\pu.

     The Top Menu does not have a “Return” setting.  
    To close the menu screen, use the co\entroller to 
    perform the operation to close the m\eenu screen.
