    Set the file number of the iFrame and still picture recorded next to 0001.

    The used space and remaining recordable time of the SD card and built-in memory can be checked.
    ≥Touching [CHANGE MEDIA] switches the unit between the display for the SD card and the 
    display for the built-in memory.
    ≥ When the mode switch is set to  , remaining recordable time for the selected recording mode 
    is displayed.
    ≥ Touch [EXIT] to close the indication.
    ≥The SD card or built-in memory requires some space to store information and manage system 
    files, so the actual usable space is slightly less than the indicated value. The usable SD card/built-
    in memory space is generally calculated as 1 GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. The capacities of this 
    unit, PCs and software are expressed as 1 GB=1,024 k1,024 k1,024=1,073,741,824 bytes. 
    Therefore, the indicated value of the capacity appears to be smaller.
    The firmware version of this unit is displayed.
    You can update the firmware version of this unit.
    This item is used to start the unit demonstration.
    ≥ If [DEMO MODE] is switched to [ON] and you touch [EXIT] when there is no SD card inserted and 
    while this unit is connected to the AC adapt or, the demonstration automatically starts.
    If any operation takes place, the demonstration is canceled. However if no operations take place 
    for approx. 10 minutes, the demonstration automatically starts again. To stop the demonstration, 
    set [DEMO MODE] to [OFF] or insert an SD card.

    The zoom bar is displayed during the zoom operation.
    ∫About the zoom speed
    The zoom speed will be faster in the order of zoom lever/ring zoom, zoom button icons.
    ≥The zoom speed varies depending on the range over which the zoom lever is moved or the speed 
    to rotate the ring.
    ≥ The zoom operation using the zoom button icons will be performed at a constant speed.

    Ring zoom
    Zoom operation can be done using the multi manual ring.
    You can set your preferred rotational directions for the zoom operation in [ZOOM RING SET] of the 
    setup menu.
    ≥This function’s default setting is [ ].
    ≥ The zoom speed varies depending on the speed you rotate the ring.
    Zoom ratio during the Still Picture Recording Mode
    The zoom ratio can be expanded up to 30 k without degrading the picture quality for the Still Picture 
    Recording Mode. (Extra Optical Zoom)
    ≥ Extra Optical Zoom ratio varies depending on the setting of [PICTURE SIZE] and [ASPECT 
    RATIO]. ( l84, 85 )
    ≥If you take your finger off the zoom lever during zoom operation, the operation sound may be 
    recorded. When returning the zoom lever to the original position, move it quietly.
    ≥ When the zoom magnification is at its maximum, the subjects are focused at about 1.2 m 
    (3.9 feet) or more.
    ≥ When the zoom magnification is 1 k, this unit can focus on a subject approx. 3.5 cm (1.4 q) away 
    from the lens.

    ≥If you touch the screen, you can adjust the horizontal 
    position of the in-focus portion.
    ≥ When no touch operations are performed for approximately 
    1 second, [Reset], [SIZE], and [ENTER] are displayed. If 
    you touch the screen, you can readjust the horizontal 
    position of the in-focus portion.
    ≥ Position of the in-focus portion will return to original position when you touch [Reset].

    ≥ Audio cannot be recorded.
    ≥ You may see a lot of noise in the in-focus portion when recording dark subjects such as night 
    scenes.
    ≥ [REC MODE] is set to [HA].
    ≥ The maximum recordable time is 12 hours.
    ≥ Motion pictures recorded with this function will look as if the frame rate is low.
