42 Making Copies Zoom/Effects The original can be copied by setting a binding margin on the edge or in the center of the paper. or The copying image can be centered automatically on selected paper. Opening the ADF NOTE: ● If a part of copied image is missing, change the Margin Reduction setting to Yes. Refer to 03 Margin Reduction Def. of the Copier Settings. (See page 73) ● When OVERLAY or FORM OVERLAY is selected, the binding margin is also set for the overlay original. ● If this setting is made when 2-Sided copying is selected, the print position comes out different between the front and back side of copy. 12 12 ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Margin ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Centering ● In Centering and Image Repeat mode, make copies with the ADF open more than 45 degrees wide. ● Remove the originals from the ADF before selecting the Centering and Image Repeat mode. An incorrect position detection of the original may occur when a strong light shines onto the glass during the Centering and Image Repeat mode.
