12 Making Copies Basic Menu ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ Parameter Registration (Tandem User Parameter) Requires network setup (see pages 77-78). The selected Remote printing copier must be either DP-8060/8045/8035. For the copier to function as a Remote/Tandem Copier it has to be setup in advance. Parameter Registration needs to be carried out in the following procedure; Step1: Register the other machines name in the Tandem User Parameter. Step2: Register the other machines IP address in the Tandem Destination. Input the Key Operator Password if required. ● The default value for the password is 8 digits (00000000). Ask the Key Operator if this has been changed.1 4 Input Password (8 digits: alpha- numerical; alphabet (case-sensitive), numbers, symbols (@, ., _, and SPACE)) 7 Enter the key name ∗ (up to 15 characters). ∗By default, the key name will be up to 15 characters of the station’s name. If installing the machine on a Network with a different subnet mask, you must first register it before being able to use the Tandem/Remote Copying function.
